  • Thrive Music Festival Service Animal Policy
Service Animal Guidelines At Thrive Music Festival (TMF), we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all guests, including those with disabilities who require the assistance of service animals. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following guidelines apply to service animals attending the festival: Definition of Service Animals A service animal is defined as a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. The tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the person's disability. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted at TMF. General Rules Admission: Service animals are welcome at TMF. No additional fees or deposits will be charged for service animals. Guests with service animals do not need to provide advance notice before attending the festival. Identification and Verification: Festival staff may ask if the animal is required because of a disability and what work or task the animal has been trained to perform. Guests are not required to provide documentation for their service animals. Behavior and Control: Service animals must be under the control of their handler at all times. This includes being harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the person's disability prevents using these devices. Service animals must be housebroken and should not pose a threat to the health or safety of others. Care and Supervision: The handler is responsible for the care and supervision of their service animal. TMF is not responsible for providing food, water, or relief areas for service animals. Access: Service animals are allowed in all areas of the festival grounds where guests are allowed, including stages, food areas, and restrooms. If a service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it, or if the service animal is not housebroken, TMF staff may request the removal of the service animal from the premises. The handler may remain at the festival without the service animal. Relief Areas: Designated relief areas for service animals will be provided. These areas will be clearly marked on the festival map, and staff will be available to guide guests to these locations. Reporting Issues If any issues arise with a service animal or its handler, guests should report the incident to festival staff or security personnel.
